Teenager – what a word… it`s a word that can produce goosebumps within seconds even to people that don’t even have children.
Society loves the word as a quick explanation for trouble. journalism loves it as an overall fault for everything that’s going wrong and is destructive…
Basically, it is a simple almost mathematical word… out of two simple words…
TEEN and AGE
thirTEEN, fourTEEN, fiveTEEN, and so on.. pretty simple and emotionless…
Do I mean teenage years are nothing major.. of curse not they are very major… A child’s brain being all reconnected and under construction is big… A child getting ready to live in an often cruel lonely and manipulating world – that’s a big deal…
Something to be scared of… NO NOT AT ALL!
Teenagers are fun! The years of peeing in the pants, crying all night and you wishing to know what they are saying are over… now you can talk, discuss and deal with each other… Do you remember how you wished that they just would be able to tell you what they want… Well, your wish came true.. (maybe more than you wanted 😉
Teenage years are the Exam of Parenthood.
Exams are something a little scary… you never really know what’s going to be asked and needed…
Do you remember your exams in school… it`s just about the same…
What did you tell your kids when they were scared about a test in school?
If you did your homework then there is no reason to be scared… If you didn’t get around to do them always then there are plenty of tutors out there that love to help… Just prepare yourself…
Another great way to get ready for exams is through learning Groups…
